Perry Follis

Perry Follis graduated from the Professional Program at the Salt Lake Campus in May of 2002. Looking to get involved with massage work with a professional sports team, Perry enrolled in the Sports Massage Career Track scheduled to start October 2002.

Prior to finishing the Professional Program, Perry took advantage of the Career Services Mailing Fast Break, targeting athletic organizations. "When I first sent off my resumes I didn’t think I was going to get a response from a [professional] team, but only a week after I sent them out I received a letter from the Chicago Cubs." Although the Cubs did not offer Perry a job, they did express their interest in future employment. "That was exciting… mainly due to the fact that I haven’t even started the Sports Track yet."

Perry is looking now to his future as a bodyworker in the growing sports massage industry. "I am looking forward to sending off more resumes. I owe a big thanks to Tabby [Adams, Career Services Counselor] for putting all the extra effort she and the rest of the Career Services [staff] did for me."
