Corinne Payne

Corinne Payne graduated with class D-52 in December of 1999. Prior to her graduation date, Cori sent resumes to several physical therapy centers throughout the Salt Lake Valley, as well as to various doctors, chiropractors and massage clinics. She was offered a job and began working at Mountain Land Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy immediately after she had graduated and received her license. She wrote the following:

"[I] have been creating a massage program for the Mountain Land Corporation. They did not offer massage before this; they offered physical therapy, occupational, speech and sports rehab.

"I've been working with their corporate marketing director to create a marketing program for massage, as well as marketing myself. I have had to develop payment plans, discounts, gift certificates, coupons, press releases, flyers and brochures for the general public as well as for a network of over 50 physicians that we work with. It has been a lot of work, but it is starting to pay off.

"They are now bringing in a second therapist to work in their West Jordan clinic. I will be his supervisor and trainer – wow! All of this has been challenging, but also a tremendous rush! But, nothing beats the heartfelt praise and gratitude of my clients. I love this work!
